Branding for Cute Girls

I'm working on a self-promotional branding package for my sister, Emily.
She used to work at Disneyland, is into cosplay and cartoons, and is down with the social meteor.
I had fun illustrating her pink hair and adding some girly sparkles to everything.

<3 The finished set will be up as soon as I finish! <3

Identity Design: 8 Bit Geek

My best pal Forest Gibson does a lot of work on the youtubes (among other things). You can see him here, here, here and here (with yours truly). He was on his way to VidCon last month, and needed some refreshed business cards. We got to talking and I volunteered to help him out. We came up with the idea to 8-bit pixel illustrate him, and came up with this final branding package.

I used more subtle colors for the print, but we ended up ramping them up and adding some fun pictograms into his twitter and facebook assets. How else do you describe a writer, director, producer, geek, gamer, photographer and laser tag enthusiast?

Expect more posts soon. It's been a while since I've updated, so I have a lot of work to share!
Love, Sarah

Tweet tweet!

Just redesigned some twitter backgrounds for Our American Generation, The Seattle University Spectator & myself! Working on them reminds me of when I first learned how to use photoshop-- by making Sailor Moon desktop backgrounds in Photoshop 7.0 in elementary school! 4th grade was a helluva year.

EDIT: also, hungrykanye. DUH.

Branded.

It's summer, which means it's time to look for new jobs or prep for the new school year.
And that's what I've been up to. I have revised my resume and made some matching letterhead:

And (in the past few months) made some resumes for friends:

Does your resume or letterhead need a makeover? email me at sarah.hiraki@gmail.com and let's talk.
